My Challenge by Chris

Happiny.

"So what is this battle, 1 on 1?" asked Brock with a firm voice.

'Actually, let's make it a 2-on-2 seeing as I've got 2 Pokemon. You can choose 2 out of Happiny, Sudowoodo and Croagunk,' replied chris. He then shouted, 'Chikorita, use Growl NOW!'

"And so it shall be if you wish." replied Brock.
Happiny was clueless of why Chikorita growled because she was so young, so she wasn't affected by the attack.
"Happiny," asked Brock in a surprisingly polite manner "use Egg Bomb, please.".
Happiny happily replied "Haaaaaapiny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and used Egg Bomb. The Egg Bomb was devastating, but Chikorita had dodged it so it wasn't hurt, but the blast made a pit in which Chikorita was now stuck.

'Chikorita, come back!' shouted Chris sadly in an attempt to free his Pokemon.

"Changing Pokemon, huh?" asked Brock. "Well, so shall I." added Brock.
"Go, Sudowoodo! I choose you!" yelled Brock while throwing Sudowoodo's Pokeball.
"Happiny, return!" said brock while placing the Pokeball to let Happiny in.
"Hapiiiny??" cried Happiny as it jumped to avoid getting into the Pokeball.
Then Happiny ran to the pit, jumped in and started throwing Chikorita up and down hard while saying "Happiny-piny-piny, Happiny, Haapiny, Happiny? Happiny, piny, piny, Happiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnyyyyyyy!" which in Pokemon language meant "Now, this is all your fault, why couldn't avoid this pit? Now, because of this, Brock is calling me back, waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!"

'Go Zubat, let's show that cry-baby Happiny we mean bussiness.

"No, wait! Let's make this battle two-on-two, my Sudowoodo and Happiny against your Chikorita and Zubat." said Brock.

Chris agreed, shouting 'Chikorita, go and help Zubat defeat Brock!'

Hapiny was so happy that it used SoftBoiled all over, healing all the Pokemon.
"Happiny, err, I thought we were only supposed to use Softboiled on friends." said Brock.
"Hap?" said Happiny. "Happiny, Happiny." it added laughingly.

Chikorita shouted 'Chikorita' gratefully to Happiny but still decided to attack it with Razor Leaf. Chris shouted 'Zubat, use Supersonic!' and the Pokemon emmited strange rays to confuse Sudowoodo.
Haven't worked out HP yet.

Happiny smiled and dodged as if they were playing a game, Sudowoodo was luckily unaffected. Happiny used another SoftBoiled out of nowhere whereas Sudowoodo used Double-Edge on Chikorita which missed.

(You might wanna know, this post didn't do anything to the battle as everything missed or failed, Lol)

'Chikorita, use Tackle! And Zubat, use Leech Life!' shouted Chris passionately.

Sudowoodo used Double-Edge to counter Chikorita but Sudowoodo was hurt because of recoil and Happiny healed itself after that with Soft-Boiled. It then used Egg Bomb on Zubat.

Chikorita was caught up in an eggy mess and was unable to attack. However, Zubat used Astonish and Happiny flinched.

Sudowoodo then used Body Slam on Zubat, which hurt Zubat badly. Happiny and Chikorita both were having a hard time so it seemed as if they had decided that they had had enough so the both fainted.

Chris was worried that Zubat would be unable to cope with the pressure, but was relieved to see Zubat recover. Zubat attemped to Bite Sudowoodo and...

Sudowoodo was badly hurt, he probably wasn't able to think straight as it used a terrifying Earthquake which unfortunately had no effect on Zubat, that drained the last bit of energy from Sudowoodo, it fainted.

"Congratulations, Chris, you beat me. I am honored to reward you the badge of the Pewter gym, the Boulder Badge." said Brock.

Chris has now won his first badge, congratulations.

'Thanks, Brock!' grinned Chris as he left the gym. 'Well done Zubat and Cyndaquil. Cerulean Gym, here we come!'
