Rules, xD.

I was thinking that maybe we should add some rules, I mean, a forum looks weird without them. Sure, we've only got like 4-5 members online everyday, and none of them would ever post anything objectionable, but suppose someone new accidentally posts something not knowing that it's objectionable? So we should have over 100 rules made up, xD, just kidding about the 100 rules part. And also, this will finally give us mods something to moderate, right now, all I do is post around and chat, I feel like a bad moderator, .

As for rules, most of them would be common sense like don't abuse other members, no spamming and no repetitive advertising.

Yeah, thanks for that, it was just a joke though, sorry, xD. And yes, we would need to add the common sense rules, because some people think it could be allowed. And some things like no profanities no inappropriate comments/images, etc..

Maybe a rule could be don't say something to a user that you wouldn't be prepared to say to their face although that is a bit general. A few others might include:
No adult references
No abusive PMs or emails
No lying to get someone into trouble
No sexism/ racism/other types of abuse
Keep offtopic talk to a minimum
Respect other people's opinions

Yeah and I'm pretty sure we could think up of a few more.

I'll keep trying to think of more ideas:
Keep consecutive posting to a minimum (if you're posting images, its okay, but for just simple writing, you can edit your previous posts)
Don't ask for personal info
Respect board administrators (if they tell you to do something, obey them)
Don't trade Pokemon on this site for real-life stuff
Don't make stupid suggestions that are in no way linked to this website

Yeah, I think having a few more rules like that would be helpful.

It would be good if there was an actual 'Rules' section, so new members could look at them when they join.
No religion/ politics (I don't know whether we'd use this rule or not.)
Don't post all in capitals (its painful for the eyes.)
Signatures:
No links to adult websites.
No huge images.
No adult images/ writing.
In RPG:
Don't make other users act strangely (like saying they did something inappropriate.)
Don't keep giving yourself an advantage (like critical hits all the time.)
Don't scam people when trading.

Hm, about that "advantage" thing, perhaps we could say that you're not allowed to say that "My Rattata level 2 used Tail Whip on Arceus level 100 and it fainted." or "My Taillow level 2 used Peck on Rattata level 2 to finish it off and it grew to level 100." or something like that so that you can't just get really high levels just like that and you can't do such unrealistic things. It's OK to exaggerate and get your Pokemon on a little higher levels, but just jumping on to level 100 is stupid.

Yeah, and don't write 'A Shiny Dialga Level 100 appeared. Go PokeBall! Captured!' because that would obviously never happen. And anyway, just cheating and making your Pokemon really powerful would be boring.

So many rules XD! Heres a rule:
Stuff like LOL Lmao and stuff like that is not allowed then again we use lol a lot.

Yeah, we're still allowed to do that with ShinyArceus, right, ?
Oh and, "Lol" is too irresistible, :O, xD, though stuff like "lmao" shouldn't be allowed as it contains inappropriate words.

It should be a rule that you don't just make a post saying 'lol' or 'XD'or whatever and don't write inappropriate stuff such as 'lmfao' or 'lmao.'

I like lol and XD. But the rest are well.............who would laugh that hard.

I'm just hoping we don't get some clown on this website and everyone would be like whats been mentioned above. I didn't mean the terms XD and lol should be banned completely, I just mean you shouldn't just make a post saying 'lol.'

Unless it was something like suggestions and stuff like that. The rpgs probably not you guys choice after all your the mods.

Stuff were you talk with your rpg character and things like that i recommend you don't say lol unless it was P.S. other then that say it. Example why would an RPg character say lol?

Yeah I like that smile its adorable. We should be able to use that to show if our character is laughing is a good idea.

Yeah, so we can use that smilie if our RPG character is laughing and otherwise, just write 'lol.' I think we shold have a rule to limit the number of smilies to per post so someone doesn't just post 5 'Very Happys' or something.

5 smiles would probably mean there very happy but i like that idea.

Do you think I should make an 'Official Rules Thread' yet or wait for SoulReaper14's approval. I just don't want to look like I'm claiming all the credit for it as its Charizard Bom VO idea. But he's gone on holiday for a while so I don't know what to do.
