| The Kanto starters: #1 Bulbasaur Japanese name- Fushigidane Type- Grass-Poison Ability- Overgrow Evolution- Ivysaur lvl 16- Venusaur lvl 32 Diamond/ Pearl Pokedex: For some time after it's birth, it grows by gaining nourishment from the seed on it's back. #4 Charmander Japanese name- Hitokage Type- Fire Ability- Blaze Evolution- Charmeleon lvl 16- Charizard lvl 36 Pokedex: The fire on the tip of its tail is a measure of its life. If healthy, its tail burns intensely. #7 Squirtle Japanese name- Zenigame Type- Water Ability- Torrent Evolution- Wartortle lvl 16- Blastoise lvl 36 Pokedex- It shelters itself in its shell, then strikes back with spouts of water at every opportunity.
